increased 2.7% between January and February 2003.
According
to the statistics announced by the national tourist
board during January, international arrivals increased
1.5% in relation to last year. February's statistics
emphasized Chile's popularity even further and showed
a 4.2% increase. This indicates that between both months
the total increase was a 2.7%. Considering the current
global situation, these are extremely encouraging results.
Wild
On en Chile
The
internationally famous E! Entertainment TV program,
Wild On, visited Chile during February 2003. EcoAustral
led the production and logistics for the TV crew, visiting
Chile's main tourist destinations. EcoAustral's executive
Mr. Cristian Levy accompanied the crew and managed the
production for the show. Suffice it to say, the Wild
On crew left Chile grinning uncontrollably and were
completely satisfied with the service rendered.

Snowboard Promotion

offers Ski and Snowboard programs throughout Chile.
The promotion focuses on European, American and Brazilian
tourists, and 12 programs are offered in the midst of
